Terrell Newby is an award-winning author, documentary director/producer, entrepreneur, and storyteller whose work explores the resilience of the human spirit. A U.S. Army Airborne Special Operations Command veteran, 101st Night Stalkers, ASA Certified Sailor, Columbia College Chicago communications alumnus, and Argosy University Chicago psychology graduate, he is also a NAMI Facilitator, Marsha Linehan Certified DBT Skills Coach, Motivational Interviewing (MI) Champion, mental health advocate, and founder of Hidden Battles DMI, a mental health streaming network on Roku. Terrell is the former owner of 730 AM, owned through his company, Excelsior Broadcasting Incorporated. The station was formerly WDKT and is now known as WUMP in Madison, Alabama.

When he's not writing, Terrell enjoys sailing and collecting Red Devil cichlids, drawing inspiration from adventure, psychology, and the power of storytelling. Through his novels, documentaries, and digital media, his mission is to entertain, educate, and inspire while encouraging meaningful conversations about the human experience.
